Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Awareness Day is October 24th. See: http://www.aomday.org/. It’s a great day to have an open house. Open houses are great for reactivating old patients, and having existing patients bring people in to meet you.

Great timing! I’m having my very first open house next weekend and would love to hear what other practitioners do or have done. I will definitely have the brochures and biz cards out. Probably a chart of acupuncture points for people to look at. I have a Piezo stimulator (a little pen-sized one) that I like to use as my “party trick” so that people can experience some symptomatic relief right then and there. Perhaps demo needling myself. Any other suggestions would be great!
